Summer Camp Registration opens March 5 & 6

It’s hard to believe we’re already gearing up for another season of summer camps! We wanted to share some important dates and frequently asked questions to help prepare for summer camp sign ups opening this spring!

Online summer camp registration will fall on Tuesday, March 5 and Wednesday, March 6 at 7 pm EST. Registration will be split by age group with Preschool (Sprouts and Saplings) on March 5 and Grades K-3 (Discovery Kids) on March 6. We also still have registration for April Vacation Camps at Gilsland Farm coming up on Tuesday, February 27 at 12 pm EST.

Please note the registration pages are separate for each week of camp (Ex. You will need to complete two registration pages to enroll in two weeks of camp). You will have the option to register more than one camper on the same registration page. Summer camps are offered at Gilsland Farm (Portland area) and Fields Pond (Bangor area) Audubon Centers, so be sure to check that you are registering at the correct location. Please direct any questions or concerns to Emma Palmer at epalmer@maineaudubon.org.

Summer camp dates, themes, and pricing will be announced by mid February, please check back for more information at https://maineaudubon.org/education/day-camps/.

Camp Registration FAQs

Do you offer waitlists?

Yes. We understand camp spots fill up fast! Our registration system will automatically switch over to a waitlist once a week is sold out. Waitlist will ask for the same contact and billing information, but your credit card will not be charged. A Maine Audubon staff member will contact you if a spot becomes available, and your card will not be charged until we receive confirmation of interest from you. We strongly recommend getting on a waitlist if you’re not able to secure a spot in a specific week.

How do I receive the Maine Audubon member discount on camp?

A minimum $50 Household Membership must be purchased prior to registration in order to receive camp discount. Memberships will not be refunded in the case that you are not able to secure a camp spot. Memberships are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. For membership questions, please call 207.781.2330 ext. 230 or email at member@maineaudubon.org.

Do you offer scholarships? Partial scholarships are available. Maine Audubon holds spots for scholarship applicants. The priority summer camp scholarship deadline is Friday, March 31. For more information, please call: (207) 781-2330, ext. 224 or email scholarships@maineaudubon.org.
