Mast Landing Sanctuary Volunteer Workday

Join Maine Audubon’s Properties Department for a morning of trail work at Mast Landing Sanctuary in Freeport. Maine Audubon’s land steward and staff will work with volunteers to install a new puncheon style bridge to help prevent erosion in a section of trail that’s become low and wet. The addition of this trail feature will improve the user experience and help protect the resources of the area.

This project will require volunteers to be out on trail, moving timber materials, and using a variety of hand tools and or power tools.
