Mast Landing Sanctuary Volunteer Workday

June 24, 1-4 pm

Come join Maine Audubon’s Properties Department for an afternoon of trail maintenance related efforts at Mast Landing Sanctuary in Freeport. Maine Audubon’s land steward and staff will work with volunteers to continue the construction of a puncheon style bridge that will help prevent erosion. The completion of this structure will improve the user experience and aid in the protection of resources found within the sanctuary.

This project will require volunteers to be out on trail, moving timber materials, and using a variety of hand tools and or power tools.
