Earth Day Celebration at Fields Pond

Join us in celebrating Maine’s natural landscape and learn about small ways you can take action to make a BIG impact on your local ecosystem’s health. This celebration will be full of family friendly activities including a beginner bird hike, native plant seed ball making, blue bird nesting box workshop and more! 

Blue Bird Box Workshop:   Show up, create, and you will leave with a complete Blue bird nesting box that can be installed at home. All pieces are pre-cut and included with the workshop. (paid registration is required for the workshop).

9:30-10:30 am: Family-friendly beginner bird walk (free) & Blue Bird Nesting Box Workshop (fee/registration required)

11 am-12 pm:  Family-friendly beginner bird walk (free) & Blue Bird Nesting Box Workshop (fee/registration required)

10 am-12 pm (ongoing): Native Plant Seed Balls under the pavilion
