Spring Bird Walk Series at Fields Pond

FREE 6-week birding series! Every Friday morning, 8-9:30 am

Spring is a perfect time to spot Maine’s tremendous variety of birds as hundreds of migratory birds begin to return from their wintering grounds. The spring season is also a great time for observing birds as migrants and year-round residents alike don their most vibrant plumage and begin to sing and call to attract mates and defend their territories. 

Walks will begin at 8 am, meeting outside the front of the Fields Pond Audubon Center and will end at about 9:30 am. Wet or muddy trail conditions are possible, so please choose appropriate footwear. Walks are free and binoculars will be available for use at no cost for those that need them. Pre-register online.  Drop-ins welcome if space allows.
