Volunteer Workday at Josephine Newman Audubon Sanctuary
Join Maine Audubon’s Properties Department for a productive morning of stewardship work at the Josephine Newman Sanctuary in Georgetown. Maine Audubon’s land steward and staff will work with volunteers to install a series of new bog bridges along the sanctuaries Geology Trail. Together we’ll strive to create a more sustainable trail network, while also providing an enjoyable hiking experience.
This project will require volunteers to be out on trail, moving timber materials, and using a variety of hand tools.
