Fields Pond Winter Photo Contest
Announcing the first Fields Pond Winter Photo Contest!
Come visit Fields Pond Audubon Center in Holden, just outside of Bangor and spend a few hours this winter taking photos of our gorgeous sanctuary. Bring a camera or bring your phone, walk the trails and snap away! All photos must be submitted digitally as JPGs or PNGs.
Submissions for the Photo Contest will be accepted online between Monday, December 4, 2023, and 11:59 am on Friday, January 26, 2024.
Online voting will continue for one week between Saturday, February 3, 2024, and 9:00 am on Saturday, February 10, 2024. In-person voting will take place on Saturday, February 10 from 10 am to 1 pm during WinterFest at Fields Pond Audubon Center.
A winner will be announced after 1 pm on Saturday, February 10. The winning photograph will be framed and featured at the Fields Pond Audubon Center lobby for 1 year. The winner will also receive a bundle of signature Maine Audubon swag!
CONTEST GUIDELINES
** Photo files must be in one of the following formats: .jpg or .png. Submissions are limited to 1 photo. Additional photos will not be considered
** Participants must consider themselves amateur photographers or up-and-coming photographers.
** Photos must be taken during Winter 2023/2024 of scenery of the Fields Pond Audubon Center sanctuary. Photographs with people in them will not be considered.
** By submitting your photo(s), you are authorizing Maine Audubon to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute the photo(s).
**Maine Audubon reserves the right to disqualify any submissions that go against the spirit of fairness, including the purchase of likes, creation of fake/bot accounts, disparagement of other entries, submitting work that is not your own, etc.
