
Earth Day Play Me a Story with Portland Stage
Join us on Earth Day for a special Play Me a Story program from Portland Stage! Enjoy a performance of specially-curated Earth Day themed children’s stories (Grandmother Fish by Jonathan Tweet and Be a Tree by Maria Gianferrari, and a poem from a Telling Room collection by young Maine writers) followed by an interactive acting workshop with Portland Stage’s Education Artists and Maine Audubon educators, outdoors at Gilsland Farm Audubon Center.
Play Me a Story will take place in person at the Gilsland Farm Audubon Center on April 22 from 10:30 am–12 pm. Doors open at 10 am, and a 10:30 am performance will be followed by an interactive workshop from 11–11:45 am, with everything wrapped up by noon.
For ages 4-10
Fee: $15/child with accompanying adult, and $8 for additional child
