Brownfield Bog Bird Walk
Major Gregory Sanborn Wildlife Management Area, formerly known as the Brownfield Bog, is a major birding hotspot in Maine thanks to the diversity of birds that breed there. Targets include Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Yellow-throated Vireos, and Yellow-billed Cuckoos, but the variety of warblers and waterbirds, including displaying Wilson’s Snipe, make this spot always worth a visit.
