Does my submission need to be new work?
No. Your submission can be made within the last 4 years (2020-2024). New work is welcome but not required.

Does my submission have to be a landscape?
No. We welcome landscapes of the sanctuary and buildings at Gilsland Farm in Falmouth.  We also encourage abstract works and work inspired by the flora and fauna found at the farm. Media accepted includes: paint (watercolor, acrylic, oil), photography, ceramics, fiber, and mixed media.

What are the size requirements?
All work must be able to be hung on the wall and be ready for hanging when delivered (no gallery clips please). Maximum size: 18” x 18” x 3” including the frame.

Is there a price requirement?
No, you may price your work as you wish, but understand that our visitors respond best to prices between $50 and $400.

Maine Audubon requests 20% of the sale price to cover Maine sales tax and our expenses. 80% of the sale price will go to the artist. If you would like to contribute a higher percentage, we can take that information at the time of the drop off. Work is not required to be for sale.

Will you accept sculpture?
We cannot accept free-standing 3-dimensional sculpture.  We will consider lightweight relief sculptures that can fit on our gallery walls without reinforcements.

Can I submit work on paper?
Yes, as long as it is ready to hang on a picture hook on the wall or you provide an alternate hanging system. No clip frames, please.
