Thank You for Joining Us for “Maine Spring LIVE” on Saturday!

What a day. Nearly 500 people came to Gilsland Farm on Saturday for Maine Spring LIVE: Wildlife, Science & YOU! this past weekend. Thank you!

The weather was a little gray, but fortunately the rain held off and everyone got to enjoy nature walks, live animal shows, presentations on community science from Lyseth Elementary School students in Portland, funny skits about wildlife and conservation, birdhouse construction kits thanks to Portland Arts & Technology High School, information on community science opportunities around the state, and — of course — food trucks.

Thank you to everyone who attended, to the great folks from awesome organizations around Maine who came to present and share information, and to our friends at Maine Public for doing such an excellent job promoting the day!
