This is critical moment for environmental advocacy at every level. Between threats to Maine’s Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, massive proposed budget cuts to EPA, a slew of anti-science executive orders, and withdrawal from the Paris climate accord, Maine’s wildlife and habitat needs our support now more than ever.
That’s why Maine Audubon is joining with several partner organizations to provide training on how to advocate effectively on behalf of these issues. Please join us to learn more about the threats we’re facing — and the citizen advocacy skills we’ll all need to fight back for Maine’s environment. Attendees will gain important insights into effective advocacy, including how to persuade your legislators and how best to get your message out.
We are currently co-hosting two trainings. Each is free but registration is required.
