Picnic at the Pond

5-6 pm: Family Picnic
Enjoy a scenic picnic dinner in the orchard above the pond. We’ll set the tables and put out picnic blankets, you bring the picnic or grab takeout on the way.

5:30-6 pm: Music with Marie Miller
Marie Miller, board-certified neurologic music therapist and owner of Rhythm and Strings Music Therapy, LLC, in Southern Maine will teach us songs about pond critters and read her singable picture book, Where do you Sleep? Marie creates multisensory learning experiences that combine music, visuals, and movements to increase engagement and enhance learning.

6-7 pm: Activities and Exploration
Scoop for and observe pond critters with Maine Audubon educators, learn about community science opportunities, do some pond water watercolor painting, and more!
