Live Wildlife Presentation with Center for Wildlife
Friday, April 19, 10:30-11:30 am at Gilsland Farm
Adults: $12/members, $15/nonmembers
Children: $8/members, $10/nonmembers
As wildlife return to our area from their winter travels or wake up from their long winter slumber, there is no better time to learn about seasonal wildlife adaptations than spring! With assistance from Center for Wildlife’s live, non-releasable raptor and reptile ambassadors, we will examine their special tools for surviving throughout the seasons in New England including migration, hibernation, and more. Educators will focus on regional wildlife and their adaptations as well as give tips on spotting and helping animals at home.
Please note: This program entails a formal presentation involving live animals, and is most appropriate for school-aged children and older. Guests are asked to remain still and quiet throughout the 45-minute presentation so as not to disrupt the animals and other people. Thank you!
