Thanks to Freeport Conservation Trust for trail work session at Mast Landing

Jonathan Dawson, Freeport Conservation Trust, sent this great report and photos from a trail work session earlier this week at the Mast Landing sanctuary in Freeport:

“Thanks to all for a great joint Freeport Conservation Trust–Maine Audubon stewardship session at Mast Landing Audubon Sanctuary this morning!  The hard work warmed us (all 13 of us!) up even though the temperature was a brisk 14 degrees F at the start!  Derek Libby, the Maine Audubon session partner said “Wow, this is best trail work session we’ve had here at the Mast Landing Sanctuary since the early 2000s!”  Many (dozens?) of ski-stopping – hiker tripping – trail blocking blowdowns were eliminated.  Go check it out!”
