Natural Communities Visit: Interior Forests & Understory Communities (Southern Maine)

Following the July 8 Natural Communities webinar, step into a mature forest to experience the cool, layered environment of the forest interior. Learn to identify understory plants, observe differences in canopy density, and explore how subtle changes in topography and soils influence plant communities. This walk focuses on slowing down, noticing patterns, and interpreting the quiet complexity of summer forests.
