Native Plants Pop-Up Sale in Bangor

Saturday, September 6 from 10 am to 2 pm, the Maine Audubon Native Plants team will be onsite at the Family Dollar Parking Lot, 89 State Street, in Bangor.
A selection of Maine native plants good for fall planting will be available to purchase. This will be a credit card only event (no cash)!

The pop-up sale is a companion to the bird mural creation taking part in Bangor: Bangor Beautiful and Maine Audubon are partnering to transform a cement retaining wall on Broadway in Bangor with a powerful combination of public art and native plantings. The project will feature five large-scale murals by Eastport artist Alison Ross, smaller companion murals created by students from Bangor and Brewer High Schools, and the planting of native gardens. Volunteers are needed to help prime and paint the wall, and will be on site on Saturday. Come join the fun!
