Introduction to the Tiger Beetles of Maine – Online Program
After spending all spring looking up for birds, summer is a great time to be looking down for beetles. Join staff naturalist Doug Hitchcox for an online program to learn about some of Maine’s most beautiful and unique beetles, the Tiger Beetles (Cicindelidae). From the abundant and beautiful, to the endangered and cryptic, Maine hosts 14 species and each has a fascinating story to be told.
