Homeschool Naturalists – Winter Session
Join the Fields Pond Audubon Center Homeschool Naturalists for an exciting, hands-on adventure learning how Maine wildlife outsmarts winter! Explore the wonders of animal adaptations as we uncover how creatures survive the cold. We’ll venture into the snowy woods, hunt for tracks and wildlife clues, and make lasting connections with fellow homeschoolers—all while having a blast outdoors.
Designed for children ages 6-14, this engaging series will start as a whole mixed age group, then break into age based investigation teams to dive deeper into that week’s theme!
Each session combines outdoor exploration, guided hiking, and nature journaling to deepen your connection with the natural world.
Drop-ins are welcome! Please call ahead to ensure space availability.
