With the days getting longer, it�s hard not to think ahead to warmer months, even while there is still plenty of wintery fun to be had at Gilsland Farm in February. Below, you�ll find a quick camps update, along with some of the programs and events you can look forward to this month:
2022 Camps:
Registration is now open for February Vacation Camp for children in grades K-2 — there are a few spots still open!! More information about April and summer vacation camps will be available online in late-February. Summer camp registration will open March 15.
Read & Ramble
Wednesday mornings, 10am or 11am
Interactive outdoor storytimes in the outdoors, geared towards children ages 2-5 and their grown-ups. Afterwards, we�ll set you up with a related, self-guided activity to enjoy on the trails.
Winter Carnival: UPDATE – canceled due to ice!!
Saturday, February 19, 10am-2pm
Join us in celebrating winter weather and wildlife with an outdoor family festival! Featuring activities for all ages, including frozen fun & games, a winter wildlife touch table, a scavenger hunt, and more, plus made-to-order s�mores from The Marshmallow Cart! Admission is FREE for Maine Audubon members.
February Vacation Winter Explorations
Tuesday, February 22 – Friday, February 25, 10-11:30am
Learn about winter ecology with daily guided hikes and explorations for learners in grades 1-5 and an adult to accompany them. What will you discover together?
