Winter Birding Walk at Fields Pond
This winter, Maine Audubon will be hosting free, monthly birding walks at the Fields Pond Audubon Center in Holden, ME. These easy-going walks will typically cover 1 to 2 miles (1.5 – 3 km) and will target winter species like Bohemian Waxwing, Evening Grosbeak, and Redpoll.
Layers and snow boots are recommended, as the trails will likely be snowy and cold. Please bring your binoculars, but we do have extra pairs if needed.
Walks are free, but pre-registration is required.
