Sunrise Watercolor at Scarborough Marsh
Join local artist Kristin F. Simmons as she demonstrates watercolor techniques and shows how to create a composition inspired by the Scarborough Marsh. Beginner and intermediate levels welcome.
Start your summer morning the best way possible — brush in hand, watching the sun rise over Maine’s largest salt marsh. Join us at Scarborough Marsh Audubon Center for a beginner-friendly watercolor session inspired by the sweeping tidal creeks, golden grasses, and glowing skies of this extraordinary 3,100-acre estuary. Together we’ll paint a sunrise over the marsh, guided every step of the way.
No experience needed. All materials are provided. Just show up ready to slow down, look closely, and let the marsh do what it does best.
All program materials provided. Participants would need to bring a water bottle and stadium chair.
Saturday August 8, 8-9:30am
$45/person
