Summer Wildlife Mingle at Gilsland Farm

Hobnob with hawks and rub elbows with reptiles at our favorite social event of the summer! At the Summer Wildlife Mingle, you’ll meet live wildlife ambassadors (think raptors and reptiles) and the experts who rehabilitate and care for them, all while enjoying drinks, refreshments, and good conversation!

The evening kicks off with an update from the field of conservation medicine from Center for Wildlife staff. We’ll hear about current trends in the Center for Wildlife medical clinic, illustrated in part by case studies of recent patients.

Then it’s time to mingle, as wildlife ambassadors join the scene! We’ll open up the doors to the patio and guests can get up close and personal with an assortment of live wildlife ambassadors and Center for Wildlife staff and volunteers.

Don’t miss this chance to learn about these incredible animals, the important work of Maine wildlife rescuers and rehabilitators, and what we can do to protect wildlife.

This event takes place indoors and outdoors (weather permitting) in the Visitor Center and adjacent patio.

Doors open at 6 pm. 21+ only (Allagash beer, wine, and snacks provided)
