Fall Community Tree Stewardship Day – Baxter Woods, Portland

Join us to help with bird habitat restoration in Baxter Woods. We will be planting shrubs and trees around the vernal pool to support birds and other wildlife that live in and use Baxter Woods. We will meet at the entrance on Stevens ave and walk .25 miles along the trail to reach the planting site.  Wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes, and bring a full water bottle, garden gloves and your favorite small shovel if you have them.  Otherwise, all tools and supplies will be provided.

This event is free and open to everyone aged 12+ (minors should be accompanied by a parent/guardian), but please register in advance to help us prepare adequate tasks, tools, and supplies.
