Maine Bird Atlas Book Release & Celebration at Fields Pond

Join the staff of the Maine Bird Atlas for an in-person celebration and release of the book. This event will feature a short presentation giving an overview of the project, plus an opportunity for volunteers to share a story or highlights from their contributions. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served by Jeff’s Catering at Fields Pond.

Pre-orders are being shipped, but this is your first chance to purchase copies of the Maine Bird Atlas directly. Betsy Rose from the University of Maine Press will be selling copies of the book, and the Maine Audubon nature stores will be open for your holiday shopping! (Please note Maine Audubon members discounts will not apply to Maine Bird Atlas sales through University of Maine Press.)

This event is free and open to the public, but please register so we can get an approximate head count, and let us know if you’d like to purchase a copy of the Maine Bird Atlas at the event.
