Fall Frolic 2026

Fall is made for nature play! Join us in celebrating the change of seasons at Gilsland Farm at our annual Fall Frolic family festival, where you can spend a playful day outdoors learning about our plant and animal neighbors and how to care for them as the season changes. We’ll have fun activities for all ages! Don’t miss out on the chance to:

🍁 Make native plant seed balls and launch them with our special slingshot
🍁 Jump in the big leaf pile
🍁 Pretend to drive the tractor
🍁 Tackle the Monarch migration obstacle source
🍁 Create art with beautiful fall leaves

🍁 Enjoy apple cider, facepainting, and more!

Our signature seasonal family festivals are free for Maine Audubon members, open to all, and fun for the whole family. Follow your Fall Frolic passport to a variety of activity stations around the orchard at Gilsland Farm, and earn a small prize for visiting them all!
