We are pleased to announce the opening of the Scarborough Marsh Audubon Center! As with most businesses, our procedures have changed to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. We are strictly following the state and federal CDC guidelines and ask all visitors to wear face coverings until they are in their boats, to keep proper social distancing of six feet while they are on land, and to stay home if they have any symptoms. Visitors from out of state must quarantine for 14 days upon arrival in the state or have valid paperwork showing they have a negative COVID-19 test result (certain states are exempt; please check the Maine CDC website for updates). Equipment will be disinfected using a 70% alcohol solution after each use.
We are now open Wednesday through Sunday, 9 am to 5:30 pm. Please note: All of our interactions with the public will be outdoors and our nature center and buildings are closed.

We will be doing our Bird Monitoring community science projects on July 25 (9:30 am to noon) and August 22 (7:30 to 10 am). We will not be having a large group gathering beforehand so we will need people to register ahead of time. They will be assigned locations to monitor around the marsh. To do this call 207-883-5100 or email email@example.com.
The Plant and Insect Biodiversity Day will not be happening as usual. Instead we ask people with this expertise to contact us and we will assign them a part of the marsh to monitor at their convenience using iNaturalist and recording in our Scarborough Marsh Project.
We will be having our weekly Bird and Marsh Walks. The Bird Walks will be from 7 to 8:30 am on Wednesdays ($5/person) and the Marsh Walks will be on Wednesdays from 10:30 am to noon ($7/person). Proper social distancing and face coverings will be required.
We look forward to sharing this beautiful and unique habitat with you in a safe manner. If you have any questions or would like more information please contact us by email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 207-883-5100.
