Stream Explorers Workshop in Alna, Maine

Three time slots: 9-10:30 am, 11 am-12:30 pm, or 1-2:30 pm

Where: Trout Brook Preserve, 1888 Alna Rd, Alna ME 04535

Come and practice your sampling methods and macroinvertebrate identification skills in-person. Choose from one of three 1.5 hour time slots. Please make sure you have watched the recorded training videos available on our Stream Explorers webpage before attending the workshop. Email hyoung@maineaudubon.org with questions.

There are three timeslots to choose from. Please sign up for the number of people who will attending and include all names. There is a small parking lot at the site but carpooling is recommended to reduce traffic. The workshop site is roughly a 2 minute walk from the parking lot. Due to potential mud on the trail, boots are recommended. All other sampling materials will be provided.
