Offshore Wind Roadmap Update

Join us for an update on the Maine Offshore Wind Roadmap, an economic development plan for the offshore wind industry in Maine.

Deputy Director Celina Cunningham from the Governor’s Energy Office will join Maine Audubon’s Advocacy Director Eliza Donoghue and Conservation Biologist Sarah Haggerty to discuss progress on the Roadmap, which seeks a path to develop homegrown energy in the Gulf of Maine, as well as public feedback on recommendations to minimize impacts on wildlife and the environment, as well as on other recommendations for how to develop an offshore wind industry that works for Maine people and Maine’s economy.
