Birding Basics: Bird Behavior

Back by popular demand and moved online, we will spend a few weeks revisiting the basics of birding. This is the perfect opportunity for people newly interested in birding, novices needing a refresher, and for even the ‘pros’ to learn something new. Every two weeks we will cover a different topic that is essential to birding. You can review the courses and join us for the topics that interest you!

Bird Behavior: This program will go beyond identifying a bird species, to examining the individual’s behavior. Our goal is to answer the question “why is that bird doing what it’s doing?” and hopefully develop a greater understanding and appreciation for even our most common birds.
