Action Alert! Your Chance to Influence Long-term Fisheries Management

Maine’s Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife is holding public meetings to hear Mainers’ thoughts on long-term management (15 years) of bear, moose, deer, turkey and freshwater fisheries. Please attend one of the public meetings and share your opinion. Take advantage of this opportunity to influence DIFW’s long-term fisheries management.

  • Farmington, 6-9 p.m. Tues., April 5, University of Farmington, Lincoln Auditorium, 224 Main St.

Management plans for 13-14 fish species are being combined into a single report with the goal of creating an end product that is simpler and more user friendly. Your voice is important and needs to be part of the process.
