Volunteer Opportunity Greater Bangor – The Penobscot River Restoration Trust is seeking volunteers to relocate freshwater mussels over the next several days immediately up-river of the Veazie Dam site – all help is appreciated! The Portland Daily Sun posts “Talk to look at possible effects of sea level rise on Scarborough Marsh system” and notes that the public can hear a “a presentation of available data on the potential effects of sea level rise on the Scarborough Marsh system,” according to the town’s website.
