Gallo, who has been at Maine Audubon for 13 years, will use the $10,000 award to develop a lakeshore assessment program. She will train volunteers to assess wildlife habitat on the shores of Maine lakes and to help landowners make habitat improvements.

A partnership between Audubon and Toyota, TogetherGreen aims to improve the environment through supporting innovation, leadership, and volunteerism.
