Reid State Park is a magnificent site in winter with its sandy beach, marsh and a mixed growth forest. Join Doug Suitor to search the water for coastal birds including grebes, loons, and scoters as well as other waterfowl. We will also check the beach and rocks for Purple Sandpipers and Sanderlings, the marsh for Short-eared Owls, and the forest for wintering songbirds. Dress warmly and bring lunch or a snack. For more information or a meeting time at Reid, contact Doug Suitor.
