Hog Island Adult Sessions

Om on the Island: A Yoga Retreat

Deepen your connection to the natural world as you relax and renew body and spirit by practicing yoga daily and exploring spectacular Hog Island. In this popular session, certified Kripalu yoga instructor Deborah Cook mixes gentle, moderate instruction with ever- present lessons drawn from the island’s exceptional surroundings.


This retreat, designed for all levels of yoga enthusiasts to deepen their connections to the natural world, includes healthy, delicious food plus a sunset boat cruise and other opportunities to observe wildlife on the Maine coast. Vegetarian & vegan meals can be accommodated by request.

Deborah Cook is a Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher, organizational consultant and nature lover. Deb has been integrating yoga into her life for 25 years and has been teaching regular weekly classes and seasonal workshops at Maine Audubon’s Gilsland Farm since 2000. Deb lives in South Bristol and Portland and enjoys the Hog Island OM on the Island Retreat as a highlight of her teaching year. www.yogainmaine.com
