Gorman Lodge by Sean Litchfield_amc program

Peter Roderick who was recently awarded the title, “Mr. AMC” will share some winter adventures in Baxter State Park and tell us about AMC’s 67,000 acre Maine Woods Initiative.  Members of the MWI committee as well as staff from the Greenville office will be present to answer questions.

AMC has created a place of learning as well as a world-class lodge system on their land in the 100 mile wilderness, the last really wild stretch of the Appalachian Trail before Katahdin. A partnership with surrounding and inholding landowners complete a multiuse timberland where one can fish, hike, bike, canoe, camp, and ski.
