    Join us on the longest night of the year for a celebration of nature in winter. We will recreate Eve Bunting’s classic story, The Night Tree, by making our own “night tree” to share with our wild neighbors. We will have hot cider and indoor activities. All ages welcome.

    Come to Gilsland Farm in the daytime and leave when it is dark.  We will learn more about the solstice through crafts, interactive learning centers and educator-led group time.  We will then head outside for a night hike!  Please bring a snack and flashlight.

    Let’s move to action and work as a team to make improvements to our beloved building and grounds. Individuals, families and groups are welcome to join us to chip away at our ‘to do’ list. No job is too big or small.

    Cyndi Kuhn, Lead Educator, will be on hand to move both adults and youngsters to action. Lunch will be provided. Please call for details.

    If you have a group that you’d like to set up for a Work Party on a different date, let us know.

    The Maine Discovery Museum will be joining us for  hands-on science and art projects.
