Junior naturalists age 11-13 who are interested in wildlife and nature will enjoy this summer program that explores local ecological and conservation-based topics in detail. Participants will further develop their ecology skills through outdoor investigation, nature journaling, making comparisons and recording data. Each day is designed to cover a topic in great detail and intended to build individual community and home connections.
Outings each day on and off trail on our 213 acre preserve will include a canoe trip at week’s end. Guest scientists will join us throughout the week.
