Our Mission & Record of Achievement
| MAMP 2009Maine Amphibian Monitoring Program
About MAMP Maine Amphibian Monitoring Program (MAMP) volunteers collect information about the abundance and distribution of calling amphibians (frogs and toads) on road-side survey routes across the state every spring.
Volunteers Needed for 2009 Volunteers who can survey for three evenings from now until early summer are needed on routes across the state, primarily in northern and downeast Maine.
Survey Materials for Volunteers Almost everything volunteers need to conduct a survey can be found here.
Season Updates for Volunteers Check here for the latest updates from fellow MAMPers and MAMP coordinators about the conditions in your area.
Take the NAAMP Frog Quiz! Learn about the USGS Frog Quiz and see how you stack up. MAMP volunteers must take the quiz, preferably before the start of the frog-calling season. |
